The roads in Spiti Valley can be challenging to drive on due to the mountainous terrain and unpaved roads. However, most roads are in good condition, and it is possible to navigate the valley in a car or motorcycle.
You should pack warm clothes, including a warm jacket, hat, and gloves, as well as comfortable and sturdy shoes for walking on rough terrain. You should also pack sunscreen, sunglasses, a first-aid kit, and any medications you may need. It is also a good idea to bring a water bottle, as well as some snacks and food, as food options may be limited in some areas.
Yes, you will need your own vehicle to participate in this self-drive expedition. The vehicle should be a SUV or Bike and it should in good condition.
